Corona Virus (COVID-19) Cleaning and Sanitization Process for the Pilot House

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to envelope regionally as well as globally, we want to make sure that you know all the steps the Pilot House is taking to ensure the health and safety of our guests.

Cleanliness and safety are always a top priority at the Pilot House. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitization as recommended by the CDC to prevent the spread of the COVD-19.

CLEAN INSPECTION STANDARDS

Cleaning Inspection We continue to clean and disinfect with approved disinfectants and cleaners, with an emphasis on all touch points after guests leave.

Examples of touch surfaces include: Furniture: chairs, tables, desks, beds, nightstands Switches and Controls: light switches, cooking controls, television remotes, television controls All surfaces in bathrooms and kitchen Handrails and door handles Floors, walls and blinds

Protective Gear All housekeepers and inspectors wear protective masks and gloves when cleaning the Pilot House.

Sanitization of Bedding & Linens When staying at the Pilot House, you can trust that all our linens, bedding and towels are sanitized and cleaned on the hottest setting between guest arrivals. This includes linens, bedding and towels that appear unused.

Re-wash Dinnerware All dinnerware, including dinner plates, glasses, coffee cups and silverware, between arrivals will be re-washed. Guests who are concerned may wish to re-wash pots and pans prior to use.

Contactless Check-In Guests check in and check out without any person-to-person contact.

Practice Social Distancing Put distance (approximately 6 feet) between yourself and others

Wash your hands often It is critical to wash hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol

Wear a face covering in public When going into a public setting, it is strongly encouraged to wear a face cover to protect others in case you are infected

Disinfect The Pilot House During Your Stay Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, faucets, and sinks.
